Being a huge animal lover, I often see what reminds me of them in inanimate objects and plants. Take a hedgehog: she is basically a cactus gone rogue. She starts her life as a cactus, then gradually develops into a mammal, starting at the top. The transformation requires more nutrients that the desert can provide, but luckily the adorable little self-cannibal can eat its own flowers at this intermittent stage.

About the Artist
Olga is a painter who draws inspiration from the fantastical worlds living inside her head: whether it is a parallel universe where the sapient life descended from dinosaurs rather than apes, or a land inhabited by mischievous lemurs, each artwork's characters come with their own story to tell.
Olga lives and works in her home in Paris, France that she shares with two furry assistants, of feline and canine variety.
