The story behind the 2023 Alice Swimming painting:
In an alternative Universe, the Earth was not hit by a giant meteor and as a result, the dinosaurs never went extinct. Instead, they evolved into Dino Sapient whose artistic culture runs in parallel with ours.
Alice's Adventures in Wonderland is just as beloved of a children’s literature classic in the dino universe, as it is in ours. The story features many of the same characters, with the exception of all humans having been naturally replaced by dinosaurs: e.g. Dino-Alice is a girl velociraptor!
Just then Alice heard something splashing about in the pool a little way off, and she swam nearer to make out what it was: at first she thought it must be a walrus or hippopotamus, but then she remembered how small she was now, and she soon made out that it was only a mouse that had slipped in like herself.

About the Artist
Olga is a painter who draws inspiration from the fantastical worlds living inside her head: whether it is a parallel universe where the sapient life descended from dinosaurs rather than apes, or a land inhabited by mischievous lemurs, each artwork's characters come with their own story to tell.
Olga lives and works in her home in Paris, France that she shares with two furry assistants, of feline and canine variety.
